Last nite, I went jogging at Punggol Park.
A very nice park, but I was too focused on the track to take in the beauty of the "lake" and lights from the neighbourhood.
I did a disappointing 1 km jog. *shake head*
In total, I did jog for 2 km, though they were done intermittently.
I'm such a disgrace. *shoulders hunched*
I walked the park a few rounds...but I didn't manage to hit my target of running 2 km non-stop.
I am so unfit. *head hangs low*
I attribute my lost of steam to over-running the first few hundred meters. Apparently, taking bigger strides does not need to come with speed. But, I went full steam ahead as if I've been a regular long dist runner all my life...hence, I punctured at just 1 km.
I shall have to practice this bigger steps with no additional speed thingy.
Aaargh! I truly hate jogging!
