Bumper to Bumper

Oct 9 was not a particularly good day.

It started and ended with car bumpers. Strange...*scratch head*

Incident 1: Neighbour knocked into my car when reversing.
Damage was very minor, scratched paint on bumper, and maybe some scratch/ crack on lens cover.

Incident 2: Dad warded himself to hospital. Now, we know it's 'cuz of a gall bladder infection. Surgery required. Question is whether it'll be immediate (not so good), or later (better). The doctor told me that he currently has no fever, because the body is fighting off the infection with its own natural mechanisms. This is amazing, and immediately made me marvel at how God had pre-programmed our bodies with these "natural body mechanisms" to provide first-aid to some of our medical conditions. HE is so wise and loving to do so.

We're praying that his symptoms will subside, so he can come home in a few days' time, and have the op when the body is better.

Incident 3: Dad's car bumper dropped off. We're not very sure how it happened....but it certainly is a novel way to cap off the eventful day.

Regardless of the days' events, we're thankful we're still somewhat safe and sound. See the good...
